Privacy Matters
The Privacy Commissioner has put the 1st December 2020 as the likely date for the new Privacy Act to come into force.  It still needs to go through the Third Reading in Parliament, but it seems safe to assume that it will be in Law by the end of the year.  This Act brings in many changes since the original Privacy Act in 1993, so it is important to have a good understanding of the basics of this Act.  Click on the link for all the details: Privacy Act 2020 - Key Changes
