What an eventful few months it has been in the list business. In June, two of the major suppliers of Business and Consumer Data closed their doors - Datamarket & Veda Advantage (Data Division). This is the most significant change we have seen in the 21 years we have been in business. Datamarket had been around a long time as UBD and more recently APN Data. Likewise Veda Advantage had purchased Atlantis Marketing's database which has been around since the late 1990's. At Martins, we have been busy expanding our business database to ensure the continued supply of good quality, comprehensive lists for marketers. Introducing Sheila Rae
Sheila migrated to NZ 14 years ago with her husband and two sons (23 & 25), both grads from Auckland Uni. Sheila says “coming to NZ was the best decision of her life”. So we are happy to have her in our busy Auckland office doing what she does best - helping clients with database solutions. In her spare time she plays badminton and loves to Zumba.

NZ Post has used the GST change to tweak their pricing for general postage as well as volumepost products. Most volumepost products have risen in price to cover the increase in GST but some products have gone down significantly - namely C5 envelopes. There have been some important changes to the allowed weight for some products and some of the addressing criteria has been relaxed. Auckland Super City & Addressing
When the the Auckland Super City comes into being on 1st November, all four current City names (Auckland City, North Shore City, Waitakere & Manukau City) will be replaced by Auckland. All Post Codes will remain the same. NZ Post has a press release on this important change.
